I decided not to paper piece my trees, but I think they still turned out ok. I love the top block and it turned out just as I had envisioned in my head. The second block involved a lot of picking and re-sewing and I still don't love it. Katie, I won't feel bad if it doesn't quite make the cut or is relegated to the back :)
Ooh - I love them! I love how in both of them the trees seem to be leaning a bit - as if they're swaying in the wind. I love the top one, too, and the bottom one is funky - in a good way. I will definitely use them both. This is my first bee, and already it's even better than expected. I got a package in the mail from Bonnie yesterday and got to see these on the blog today. It's like Christmas every day - but even better - since it's craft related.
